To ensure that those in need of care can remain in their home environment for as long as possible, each person in need of care now has the opportunity to receive support worth €125. This €125 cannot be paid out, but must be provided as a service by approved companies or organizations. Everyday assistance includes help with shopping, household chores, walks, and church and cemetery visits. Group meetings, senior exercise classes, cooking, baking, and excursions promote social engagement outside the home.
